About Me
Hey, I’m Michael - a sports data enthusiast currently studying for an MSc in Sports Data Analytics at University of Strathclyde.
My passion for data analytics within sports was sparked after I watched the 2011 Brad Pitt movie, Moneyball.
The idea that matches and players could be evaluated by numbers and data patterns blew my mind. Since then, data in sports has only grown in importance and use year by year - I want to be part of that future.
Over the years, I have created football prediction models, contributed directly to the Kinovea video analysis tool, and applied my skills with Berwick Rangers FC as a volunteer scout.
I want to use data to make sport smarter, whether that’s predicting match results, analysing player performance, or creating tools that offer a fresh perspective.
